Our Team

Darius Flecken  is the co-creator of the app and created the idea behind Recomise. As CEO, he focuses on business development as well as strategical and operational topics.

Working as a Senior Consultant at Dr. Nagler & Company GmbH, Darius has gathered for more than 3 years practical experience in Risk & IT-management. Additionally, Darius co-founded the start-up NAIX GmbH about 4 years ago and assisted with business management, operational and strategic topics for the first 2 years.

Darius studied “Accounting and Finance” at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and international business administration at the accadis University Bad Homburg. In his leisure time, Darius enjoys time with friends & family as well as playing chess.

Phillip Theissen acts as the technology lead within the start-up and is thus responsible for all IT related topics. This includes the development, maintenance, and further improvements of the app.

After finishing his bachelor’s degree in business information systems at the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education (in cooperation with Accenture Technology Solutions GmbH), he started a new role as IT-Consultant at msg systems AG in Munich.

To further improve his skills and education, Phillip started his master’s in management analytics (M.A.) at the Mannheim Business School in February 2022.This program focuses on different aspect of the modern digitalization and the importance of data within the digitalization.

Due to the Cooperative Education program, Phillip gained a lot of experience in different topics including project management, application development and cloud migration. In addition to his day-to-day job, Phillip acts a board member in two different associations where he manages the associations on a strategic level.

Jannik Sonnenmoser focuses on Front-End and App-Developing and other IT-related topics.

Currently, Jannik is working at All for One Group. At All for One, an SAP– and digitalization consultancy, he acquired skills in maintaining and improving ERP systems and in software development. Right now, he is operating as a UI/UX-Developer at All for One.

To gain additional, extracurricular experience, he joined a student consultancy, where he was Head of IT. There he acquired skills in IT consulting, project management, leadership, and a wide variety of IT topics. Besides that, he is an ambitious soccer referee and enjoys his spare time with friends and family.

Alexander Meier acts as a part of the IT Team within the start-up and is responsible for IT related topics. This includes the development, maintenance, and further improvements of the app.

He is currently in his bachelor’s degree for business information systems at the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education (in cooperation with BayernLB). To improve his English and social skills Alex did a semester abroad in Seoul South Korea during his studies.

Alex, began programming in middle school and gained a lot of experience since then. His major interests in IT related topics are application development and cloud migration. In addition to his studies Alex acts as a member of a finance initiative and is a bord member at a student consultancy.

He holds an award for his academic performance: “Urkunde für herausragende Leistung im Fach Informatik” issued by the Society for Informatics.

As recreation, he enjoys being a Pilot and travel.

Our Advisory Board

Prof. Dr. Marcus Oehlrich is an essential addition to our advisory council. As a consultant in various positions, he has gained vast practical experience in implementing business plans, valuating companies, and consulting start-ups. Simultaneously, he succeeds in the academic world by having written nine academic books, teaching at universities, and researching at accadis University of Applied Sciences in Bad Homburg.

He served as Honorary Consul for the Republic of San Marino from 2010 to 2020 and was the General Manager of the Institute for Medical Law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim from 2004 to 2011.

His innovative and constructive mindset has also earned him several prizes (e.g., an Award of Distinction within the Prix Ars Electronica—International Competition for Cyber Arts, 2004) as the co-founder of Volker Karl Oehlrich-Gesellschaft e.V.—a nonprofit organization that operates www.krebs-kompass.de for cancer patients.
